Description: This is session 2 in a series of training sessions to:

  1. Provide an overview of the principles and practice of data visualization
  2. Provide participants with an opportunity to apply those principles to Arkansas Department of Education (ADE) data for three targeted initiatives in the state
  3. Identify plans and next steps for ADE’s data visualization support and practice

Through three training sessions, REL Southwest will guide ADE in designing engaging data visualization for a variety of stakeholders that inspire action.

Research Alliance: Southwest College and Career Readiness (SWCCR) Research Partnership

Audience: The primary audience for this project comprises staff working in multiple departments of ADE, such as members of the following divisions: Learning Services; Public School Accountability (School Performance, Standards and System Support, and Family/Community Engagement); Educator Effectiveness; and Research and Technology.
